We have a new saying in our family: No Whining. Just Living. It's a new rule, said with a smile, aimed at the grownups. There's a lot I don't know, but I do know this:
This is my only life as Mrs. D. He is the love of my life. And these boys will only smile like this right now. Better but different smiles will come, & tomorrow they'll ask to bring their friends. Only now is just like this.
I'm soaking up every single moment.
Welcome to my 100th post.
So very true, Maya.
Many, many times I have thought and said, "He'll never be 1 day old." or "1 week old." or "1 month old." ... on, and on, and on. I still think and say it now ... Soak it all up while we can.

I've had those same thoughts many times, too. I think that even though these times can be so crazy with such little ones, they are so sweet and will be fondly remembered. I think that "no whining" rule is a good idea. It's better to focus on the good things.
Also, I love your hat. Did you make it? I have not found a good hat yet this winter. I fear I may not. There's still a little time...
Congratulations on your 100th post! I'm really enjoying and being inspired your blog. Thanks for putting so much of yourself into it.
